The State of Nebraska has enacted a law commemorating Chinese Lunar New Year Day each year throughout the state of Nebraska. Pete Ricketts, Governor of the State of Nebraska, proclaims January 25, 2020 as Chinese Lunar New Year Day, and urges all citizens to take due note of the observance.

Please mark your calendar for our annual Dragon Boat Festival potluck on June 16 (Sunday) at 10:30am at the Holmes Lake Park. We have planned many activities for children as well as for adults for this event, including Canoe Race, Field Games, etc. Kids activities will start at 10:30am. Please bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets and have some outdoor fun with your friends.
Since it is a potluck party, we would like each family to bring two dishes and each individual to bring one dish. LCCA will provide drinks, silverware and some additional food.
